There is no headstone on the gravesite.
He was buried extra deep to allow for someone to be buried above him. He was buried on 30 Oct 1918 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, USA. His parents were German immigrants.

William (Bill) worked for the Illuminating Company in Cleveland, Ohio. We believe he was a lineman. He may have done several things.

He had one eye, the right, with a glass eye in his left.

One day while working, he broke his glass eye. He took the fragments to his supervisor and told him of the accident. When the supervisor saw the broken glass eye he exclaimed, "Oh my God did it hurt?!"

He worked for the Illuminating Company when he caught the flu in 1918 that killed him.

The ambulance picked him up at home to take him to the hospital. He told them he wanted to go to Charity (Hospital) instead they took him to City (Hospital).
His wife related the story that when the driver told him he was going to City Hospital she could see the spirit go out of him. He thought he would get better care at Charity. We will never know.

He was married to Rhoda Emma Alice SUTHERLAND in 1893 in , , USA. Rhoda Emma Alice SUTHERLAND was born on 5 Jul 1875 in , , Indiana, USA. She died in , , New Jersey, USA. She was buried in , , New Jersey, USA. Death Cause : age William COFFMAN and Rhoda Emma Alice SUTHERLAND had the following children:

Micky volunteered for a dangerous mission to carry messages. He was killed on one of those missions.

He was burried at Arlington Cemetery. He was buried in 1944 in Baltimore, Baltimore Co., Maryland, USA. Henry Edwin was a twin. His brother was named Ford Irwin. Their Mother wanted the boys named Edwin and Irwin, their father who filed the papers, instead named them Henry & Ford. Ford died young.

He went by the name Micky. Given to him by his nephew Robert Sutter. The name came from a popular song in the late teens or early 1920's.

As a youngster he fell off the gararge flying a kite and broke his left arm.
He was remembered climbing the outside wall (in a corner) of the school he was attending at Mayfield and Richmond Rd. in Lyndhurst.

He was mostly raised by his sister Viola Sutter.

In the service he was a prolific letter writer. He was stationed in Hawaii for at least 2 years.
