2. Alphonso DeLeon MORGAN was born in 1847 in Louisville, Jefferson Co., Kentucky, USA. He was buried in 1930 in Golden City, Barton Co., Missouri, USA. He died on 1 May 1930 in Golden City, Barton Co., Missouri, USA. Military Service:
Confederate soldier in America Civil War, with General John Hunt Morgan and his raiders, He took care of JHM's horse and personal effects. Was captured in the great raid through Ohio and finished the war in a prison near Chicago.

He always refered to all people from the north as "Damn Yankees". Apparently because of the war and his father's murder by a northern soldier.

He lived his last days as a gentleman farmer in Golden City, Missouri. He had a horse by the name of Brigham.
